ABOUT PREY TELL
In a dizzying carousel of whimsical fun and disturbing horror, Prey Tell Stories seeks to encapsulate the experience of girlhood - the beautiful, confusing mess known as growing up. We seek to explore the juxtaposition between creepy and cute, and the puzzling mysteries that lie in the fuzzy space in-between, waiting to be unravelled. Each game of ours tells a deeply personal story of our own challenges on this equally-freeing-and-terrifying journey of finding yourself in this crazy world we live in, and we hope that by sharing these tales to the world we can bring comfort and closure to other weirdos just like us!Looking for more? Q. Can I create my own fanart/fiction/game based on your work?
A. We adore and encourage all fanwork as long as it is labelled as unofficial and is clearly marketed as an original fan work! They should not use any assets or writing taken directly from our work. Please tag us in whatever you create so we can see it! ♡Q. Does that include NSFW work?
A. We do not condone any sexually explicit or violently graphic content of our underage characters. If the character(s) depicted is/are of legal age and they are engaging in an environment where they are safe, consenting and in a healthy relationship, go bananas!Q. Can I sell fan-merch based on your work?
A. As long as it is your original artwork and you are not selling direct assets from our games. Please do not sell through sites like RedBubble or Teesprings which steal art to make a profit off of it. All fan merch must be sold independently where you are the sole profiter of the work. (manufacturers like Vograce, Wooacry or other are an exception!)
Q. What inspires you?
A. A lot of our work is inspired by our experience of growing up as girls on the internet from the 2000's to the 2020's! We want to make games that encapsulate all the stages of girlhood that girls of all ages can enjoy!Q. What is your stance on AI?
A. Prey Tell Stories is strongly against the use of generative AI and we will never use AI in our work. We are also anti-NFT and anti-Crypto.Q. Can I commission/hire you?

As the team’s lead writer, I want to weave traces of my deepest self into every story I tell, exploring themes of identity and how our experiences shape who we are.A lot of my inspiration comes from my experience with growing up on the internet during the late 2000's and through the 2010's, being there for the birth of let's-plays and websites like girlsgogames when they were in their prime. I love puzzle games, point-and-clicks, dating sims, and anything that's cute with a creepy twist!! >:3c

I love programming new mysteries and finding ways to improve my own personal style!I'm Prey Tell's lead programmer and I find myself wondering about what lies underneath the surface. "I hope that one day, everyone in the world will be best friends."And the little red panda's soul floated up into the ether...The Gods, seeing the beauty in each of their wishes, chose to rescind their decision. They grasped each soul as it floated up to Heaven, but they could not return each animal to their body. Their beings remained on Earth as ghouls, lurking beyond the veil, floating in between the afterlife and the living. Comforted in each other's company, the four friends held hands and smiled. Together, they could share their stories, solve puzzles, create beautiful art, and encourage the world to be friendly and kind - and thus, Prey Tell Stories was formed, and each sacrifice lived happily ever after.
